Climate
The year round tropical climate is ideal for sailing. With predominantly light to moderate northeast winds. The best season is situated between November to April when the weather is consistently sunny and dry with temperatures around 85 degrees.

Regattas :
King's Cup: held annually each December under the Patronage of the King of Thailand. First Regatta was held in 1987 and the number of participating boats has grown each year. Now the top Regatta on the Asia Racing Circuit.
QBE Phang bay Regatta: held annually over Chinese New Year, is Phuket's newest Regatta. Now it is fast gaining a reputation as the most fun Regatta in Asia.
