Cut off from the African mainland for millions of years, Madagascar's teeming forests are a naturalist's damp dream; they've preserved oddities and developed specialisations found nowhere else on earth, and you can get among them in a spectacular collection of accessible national parks. The sailing area is in the North around the island of Nosy Be.
Malaysia - Langkawi :
Off the northwest coast of peninsular Malaysia in the Straits of Malacca, just a few miles south of the Thai border, lie over a hundred magical islands – some just small outcrops of coral with a few trees and a sandy beach of which Langkawi is the largest.
Mauritius :
Mauritius is a small island located in the South-West Indian Ocean. The coastline of 330 kilometres is almost entirely surrounded by one of the largest unbroken coral reefs in the world.
Seychelles :
The archipelago of the Seychelles is located about 600 miles from the east coast of Africa. These islets are scattered across the Indian Ocean. The cruising area between Mahe and Praslin is restricted to the inner islands of Silhouette, La Digue and two dozen of smaller ones.
Thailand - Phuket :
Combine the comfortable year round tropical climate with the hundreds of National Park islands, bays and coral reefs within easy access from Phuket, Thailand, and the result is an area that offers ideal conditions for sailing yacht charters, fishing boat trips, scuba diving, pleasure boating and snorkeling.
